Please note that this is an intensive course. The course will be offered synchronously from 10AM-1PM on: Saturday (January 16); Saturday (January 23); Saturday (January 30); and Saturday (February 6). Asynchronous sessions are available in between these dates for team work.
This course is titled Strategic Design for Systemic Change.
Introduction to the theory, tools and techniques of strategic design as an approach to systemic change in society using a multi-sectoral approach to policy and strategy in an interactive studio setting. Strategic design is an emerging discipline that integrates design (human-centered research, problem finding, design and creative thinking) and strategy (systems thinking, problem solving, practical reasoning and planning) techniques. Strategic design is a useful skill set for policy practitioners in an increasingly complex world.
