ANTH 201: ETHNIC RELATIONS

We live in an age in which ethnicity, race and nationalism dominate the headlines. People are killed and violence and protests seem to mushroom. But what exactly are these concepts? Why have they become so contentious? This course is designed to explore these most relevant of issues, to give us a chance to decipher their origins, explore their many forms, and connect them to our global way of life.
