BIOL 448G Directed Studies in Biology - DIRECTED STUDIES
A course designed to allow students to undertake an investigation on a specific topic as agreed upon by the faculty member and the student. Permission of the supervisor required. No more than six credits of BIOL 448 may be taken with the same supervisor.
- 2020W: BIOL 448G - Cell Signaling and Cell Communication Pre-req: BIOL 200; a co-req of BIOL 362 highly recommended. This course deals with the processes of how cells communicate and its regulation, drawing on a variety of model systems to use as examples. The course will contain interactive lectures, covering the basis of cell signaling, communication, and the technology used in making important discoveries in this field. This content allows students to develop knowledge and skills in understanding both conceptual and practical cell biology-related problems.
