BMEG 250 Cellular Physiology and Biophysics

Cellular structure and mechanisms of membrane transport, signal transduction, muscle mechanochemistry and neurotransmission. Structure and hierarchical organization up to the level of tissues. Light and electron microscopy.

This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

Pre-reqs: All of BMEG 245, MATH 256.

L2A consists of a dry lab and a wet lab portion. The dry lab occurs from 1-2pm. The wet lab is spilt up into two sections - one occuring from 12-1pm, and the other from 1-2pm. Students will only attend one hour of lab per week and the schedule will be posted by the instructor. Students who wish to take BMEG 201 section 202 should email undergrad@bme.ubc.ca for registration.
