CIVL 230 Solid Mechanics

Stress and strain, Hooke's law, axially loaded members, torsion, shear forces and bending moments in beams, bending and shear stresses in beams, composite members, introduction to inelastic and statically indeterminate problems.

This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

Pre-reqs: All of PHYS 170, MATH 101.
