COMM 295 Managerial Economics

Economic foundations of managerial decision-making. Demand theory, cost and production, market structure, competitive strategy, organization of the firm, welfare-economic foundations of business regulation. Credit will be granted for only one of ECON 201, ECON 206, ECON 301, ECON 304, FRE 295 or COMM 295.

This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

Pre-reqs: Either (a) ECON 100 or (b) all of ECON 101, ECON 102.

Restricted seats are for students in BCom Year 1 or higher. Students are advised not to make travel arrangements until confirming the final exam date with the instructor. The exam for this course will be held during the term 1 summer exam period (June 22 to June 26) - the schedule will be released about 3 weeks before the exams.
