MUSC 313 Choral Conducting

The relation of conducting gestures to choral sound; development of practical skills in directing ensembles and reading scores; attendant issues of vocal technique and pedagogy.

Conducting courses MUSC 311, MUSC 312, and MUSC 313 are required for BMUS students majoring in GSEM, GSSM, and COMP. Other students interested in taking the course can sign up online to the waitlist MUSC 311 1W4, MUSC 312 1W4, and/or MUSC 313 1W4. Waitlist students in late July will receive an application form to fill out which includes rationale for taking the course.
