Topic: Explorations in Creative Process for Classical Performers (Sharon). This course explores artistic legacies and missions, approaches for effective practising and rehearsal techniques, creative performance practice, modes of?community outreach, and interdisciplinary connections. The weekly meeting comprises dynamic class discussions, workshops with guest?presenters, and student projects. Its diverse content is aimed at developing skills and philosophical perspectives for the 21st century Western?classical musician, and will be somewhat reflective of student input. The course is open to Performance students in all degree programs. Auditors from all MUSC degrees are welcome to attend on a drop-in basis.? With 403X.
