PERS 100 Basic Persian I

Basic vocabulary and the fundamentals of modern Persian grammar, structure, and pronunciation, as well as reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

This course is designed to develop basic language skills, with basic vocabulary and grammatical constructions. Persian 100 for absolute beginners with no prior exposure to Persian language.

Prerequisites: None (not open to students of Iranian heritage)

All students are required to complete a placement interview to ensure that they are registered in the appropriate level. For upcoming interview dates, please go to our website at www.asia.ubc.ca to view under "Placement exams".
