PERS 300 Intermediate-High Persian I
Graded reading, writing, exposure to textual history, newspaper reading, and translation. Cultural materials presented as appropriate.

This course is designed for Iranian students who have finished grade 4 or lower at Iranian schools. Main goals of this class are developing skills in reading and writing in Persian, advancing Knowledge of Persian grammar and vocabulary, improving reading skill and developing a greater familiarity with Persian culture.
Prerequisites: Open to those who were born in Iran and studied in Iran up to (but not beyond) grade 6 before coming to Canada.

To secure a place in a Persian language course, attendance in all class meetings is mandatory during the first week of classes. Students with unexcused absences will be dropped from the course.
