This course will meet remotely via Zoom. Synchronous attendance is encouraged but not required. Each week will have a set of readings on a theme. On Monday and Wednesday, Ill give online lectures focusing on terms, context, and the specifics of the topic were examining. Video recordings of these lectures will be posted to Canvas. On Friday, well have an online class discussion structured by questions that youll submit as a group. These questions will emerge from online small group discussions, which youll engage over the course of the week. Fridays are the most important days for synchronous attendance since theyre entirely guided by your questions and discussion. Please prioritize attending on Fridays if possible.
