PHYS 450 Quantum Mechanics

Postulates of quantum mechanics, expectation values, hermitian operators, commuting observables, applications to one-dimensional systems, harmonic oscillators, angular momentum, applications in three dimensions, hydrogen atom, time dependent perturbations. Credit will be granted for only one of PHYS 304, 450 or CHEM 312.
