Principles and Practice of costume design for the theatre.The design process and the practical aspects of costume production will be examined in detail. Thecourse will also examine the meaning and purpose of costume in a theatrical and film production.Students will explore an approach to textual analysis and visual research for the designer. Drawingand rendering for costume design will be an ongoing activity.
