Low Speed Aerodynamics

Circulation, vorticity and Kelvin's Theorem. Potential flow theory and the Kutta-Joukowski Law 2D Vortex Panel. Method. Laminar and turbulent boundary layer computations. Lifting line theory. Vortex Lattice Method. High lift devices. Total airplane drag. Credit cannot be obtained for both MECH 581 and MECH 481.

This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
