-  Small group class; exploration of skill-sets, experiential exercises. No pre-req, can be taken in any year. This course is for students who would like to deepen their understanding of sight-reading as a compendium of skills,implemented in a low-stress and supportive environment of non-competitive investigation blending substantive exploration of tools and means, reflections on cognitive obstacles, and confidence-building discussion. Weekly sessions will deconstruct sight-reading by examining its components separately and combining them with new awareness of process.
