Basic Persian I

Basic vocabulary and the fundamentals of modern Persian grammar, structure, and pronunciation, as well as reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

-  This course is designed to develop basic language skills, with basic vocabulary and grammatical constructions. Persian 100 for absolute beginners with no prior exposure to Persian language. Prerequisites: None (not open to students of Iranian heritage) All students are required to complete a placement interview to ensure that they are registered in the appropriate level. Students will be placed into the class based off our department priority guidelines.
