- This section is for students in the Faculty of Arts. Please visit https://asrw.arts.ubc.ca/wrds-150/wrds-150/wrds-150a/ for section topics. Winter Term 1 (September-December) sections will be held online. Classes will include a combination of synchronous (live) and asynchronous activities (such as watching recorded lectures, posting to discussion boards, or completing quizzes). By the start of term, instructors will provide their students with more information on what to expect in their individual sections. Students in the Faculty of Arts require only ONE of WRDS 150, WRDS 350, ENGL 100, ARTS 001 (Arts One), ASTU 100 or 101 (Coordinated Arts Program) to satisfy the Arts Writing Requirement.
