MICB 413 Topics in Microbiome Research

Critical examination and discussion of contemporary research literature concerning the impact of host-associated microbiomes on host development, health and disease with a focus on humans. Priority given to students in Microbiology and Immunology specializations.

Pre-reqs: Either (a) MICB 302 and one of MICB 308, BIOL 335; or (b) BIOT 380. (And fourth year standing in Science.)

Students should register into the wait-list at the present time. Students will be contacted in mid June regarding registration. Student that are on the wait-lists for MICB 404, 406, 407, 412 and 413 will be asked to rank their preferences for registration - please check for an email after the first week of June. Depending on the demand for these courses, students may be registered in only one course. If seats remain open, students may be registered into a second course. Students should consult SSC on a regular basis in July to see if they have been moved into the course.
