MINE 520 Advanced Coal Preparation
Thermal and metallurgical coals. Desulphurization Theory of coal beneficiation. Dense media separation. Coal surface properties and their effect on fine coal processing by flotation and oil agglomeration; coal/water/slurries. Plant performance testing and instrumentation. Credit will be granted for only one of MINE 520 or MINE 566.
This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
