CRWR 201 002 | Web-Oriented Course | 2 | Thu | 15:30 | 17:00 | All CRWR courses in Term 2 (January-April) will be held online. This particular course will blend synchronous and asynchronous content. Weekly modules of pre-recorded videos and readings introduce you to fundamental skills such as word choice, image, line breaks, sonic devices, metaphor, and revision, allowing you to move through key concepts at your own pace. Conversations in small groups will supplement these materials. Sync sessions, held on Thursdays from 3:30 4:30 P.M. PT on Zoom, will offer structured reading and writing time, and recorded for those who are unable to attend. |
All CRWR Winter Term 1 (September-December) courses/sections will be held online. This particular course will be asynchronous, meaning you can engage with the material weekly at your own pace, but there is also an opportunity to have a more traditional, real-time classroom experience. Thursday is our high-contact day: you can attend an interactive, virtual class session from 2-3 p.m. PT (a recording will be available afterward), meet with your TA by video or chat during office hours, and share work with your small group, if necessary.
