International relations in the Middle East in the aftermath of the Ottoman Empire, with special attention to the conflicts between Jews of Palestine/Israel and their Arab neighbours.

HIST 405 will be conducted using both asynchronous and synchronous learning tools. Lectures will be delivered live on Wednesdays, and recordings of them will also be made available on Canvas.
