Within the Pre-requisites, CEFR refers to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The CEFR is a reference tool developed by the Council of Europe to provide a common basis for the development of modern-language curriculum guidelines, examinations, textbooks, etc. Please contact the Department Advisor (French) with questions at All French courses titled "Studies in ....", as well as FREN 348, FREN 349, FREN 495 and FREN 498, may be taken twice for credit with different content, to a maximum of 6 credits.
