Genetic variation, genome analysis, cloning of genes for diseases and normal functions, mutation detection, animal models of human genetic disease.

Pre-requisite: BIOL 335 (BIOL 334 is no longer a pre-requisite).

MEDG 520 is blocked to student registration. Non-Medical Genetics students interested in taking MEDG 520 must obtain permission from the course coordinator, Dr. Anna Lehman.
