Biofluids
Review of principles, Navier-Stokes equations, biorheology, circulatory biofluid mechanics, synovial fluid in joints, biofluid dynamics of the human brain, respiratory biofluid mechanics, flow and pressure measurement techniques in human body. Credit will be granted for only one of MECH_V 433 or MECH_V 533. [3-0-1]. Prerequisite: Either (a) MECH_V 225 or (b) one of MATH_V 255, MATH_V 256 and one of CHBE_V 251, CIVL_V 215, MECH_V 280. Equivalency: MECH_V 533.
