Analysis of nucleic acid sequences using command-line computer programs. Use of biological databases. Structure and evolution of genomes. Credit will be granted for only one of BIOL_O 477, BIOL_O 577, BIOL_O 430, BIOL_O 431, BIOL_O 432, BIOL_O 433 or BIOL_O 420Y (Bioinformatics) when the subject matter is of the same nature. [3- 0-0] Prerequisite: BIOL_O 265 and at least 6 credits of 300-level BIOL_O or BIOC_O courses.
