The structural, biochemical, and functional changes that characterize clinically important diseases of the nervous system, including: brain and spinal cord trauma; developmental disorders, memory, and memory dysfunction; neurodegenerative diseases; mood and anxiety disorders; epilepsy; and maintenance of homeostasis.
