Overview of e-commerce from a managerial perspective, with emphasis on the three major driving forces behind e-commerce: technology change, business development, and social controversies. Concepts and frameworks for ecommerce with which to examine existing ecommerce models, new e-commerce opportunities, the prevalent enabling technology, strategic issues confronting new Internet ventures, privacy and intellectual property. [3-0-0] Prerequisite: All of MGMT_O 220, MGMT_O 250. Third-year standing.
