GEOG_V 517 - Environmental Sustainability

Environmental sustainability is examined through conceptual literature and empirical examples. Emphasis on links between the natural and social sciences. Case studies are used to discuss appropriate scales of development, potential limits to growth, and geographic distribution of benefits and costs associated with resource allocation and development. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
