MECH_V 582 - Experimental Fluid Mechanics

Modelling Test facilities. Wind tunnel force measurement. Theory of conventional and modern manometry. Classical velocimetry. Hotwire anemometry. Theory and application of laser Doppler velocimetry. Particle image velocimetry. Flow visualization techniques. Thermometry. Credit will not be given for both MECH 489 and MECH 582. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
