Physiology and structure, mechanisms of pathogenesis, immunological response, clinical disease caused, laboratory diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and control. Properties and uses of antimicrobial agents, resistance, vaccines, and bioterrorism. Credit will be granted for only one of BIOL_O 232 or BIOL_O 314.
