Image Processing and Applications

Fundamental theoretical and practical concepts for processing and analyzing real-world digital images and videos, image enhancement and filtering, frequency domain and other transform analysis, morphological image operations, image segmentation, and object recognition. Credit will be granted for only one of COSC_O 344 or COSC_O 445. [3-0-0] Prerequisite: One of COSC_O 210, COSC_O 222 and one of MATH_O 200, APSC_O 248 and one of MATH_O 221, APSC_O 179.
